This will explain a little of what I do as an herbalist, and you will find my Interests here.

The name Wholistic compounding  was given to me by a local physician. The physician, wanted me to make up some stuff that she needed, and wanted to make them available to men and families in her practice, but might be put off by the Birth and Breastfeeding Labels.

So a second business was born. I still own Birth and Breastfeeding and things geared toward moms and babes will wear proudly the brand of Birth and Breastfeeding Resources.  However, skin care products and other things will have Wholistic Compounding  on the label. You can order both here on this site, just go to the catalog.

In my skin care products, there is no alcohol or preservative in them. This is so a wider range of people can use them. Tinctures, on the other hand are made with alcohol as the solvent and a preservative. Alcohol can be steamed off, by placing the dose of tincture in hot water or tea for about one minute. The herbs are gathered from reputable sources, and some are home grown and dried. Homeopathic remedies are purchased from well known brands and can be purchased in either pellet or tincture form.  Our essential oils are top quality essential oils for all our products.

Wholistic compounding makes and sends specialty and name brand essential oils and herbal formulas across the US and even the world.  We also package and compound herbs for medical, lactation and other health care providers.

Specialty compounding is done for those wanting or needing specific formulas.  Tinctures, salves or creams are mixed in bulk for convenience, packaged and shipped to you. This is usually done for the cost of supplies, plus a special mix fee and the shipping and postage. Each is labeled, and dated for freshest use. For those buying in bulk and wanting to re-sell, we have a wholesale- retail agreement that must be signed, verified and maintained.

Herbal and nutritional consultations are also available.  Herbal and nutritional consultations are available for a reasonable cost. But realize these consultations take time and require follow-up.
